This is the first quilt I ever made. It was for Stephen who was collecting Kachina Dolls after our trip to Glacier National Park, Montana. This is the only quilt that I hand pieced. Stephen was studying pioneers in his second grade class and when they came to quilting he inspired me to make a quilt – this one. Especially, since I was staying home with the 2 kids while they had the chicken pox, I thought "When would I have a better chance to do this?"
